The Name Game: A Trademark and IP Primer for Today's Businesses

Does your business have a trademark, copyright or patent? (trick question, it almost assuredly does!) Come explore the many facets of recognizing and protecting the value of your hard-earned intellectual property. This primer will include an in depth look at the federal trademark registration process.

Join attorney Andrew Kraus for a trademark and intellectual property (IP) primer that will cover the various types of IP, the difference between registering and not registering your IP with the federal government, and a walk-through of the federal trademark registration process. Andrew will share his insights as a trademark attorney on where entrepreneurs most often encounter problems, and what best-practices can be adopted to help avoid them. We'll also hit on the important interplay between contracts and IP protection - a vital consideration for companies looking to hire, grow or scale!

Your Presenter
