Logos from the Ground Up

Your logo is the stamp that identifies your business to the world at large. From websites and business cards, to uniforms and giveaway items, your logo needs to go on EVERYTHING and should be one of the very first things you develop as you prepare to market your business...but what if your budget is small and your graphic design experience is even smaller?

This workshop will cover the basic principles of good logo design, as well as a variety of options and outlets (at all price points) for getting a professional-quality logo that will meet all your needs. 

This workshop is one hour, but there will be some time after for questions or feedback on your logos. 

You will learn:

• The anatomy of a logo: wordmark, tagline, and icon
• How logos are used and when to use your logo
• Who can design your logo
• Common mistakes to avoid! 
• A walkthrough of designing a logo, including font choice and color choice

Your Presenter: Alexandra Munier 

Allie Munier has been working for more than 10 years in the marketing field, primarily with small and medium sized businesses. She has experience is in a broad range of industries, including fashion, real estate, and higher education, and is currently the Associate Director of Marketing at Competitive Energy Services, a full-service energy management firm. She also continues to do freelance graphic design and marketing work with a focus on nonprofits and arts organizations. She has been a SCORE mentor since April of 2018.
