Spend the night in Georgia's oldest brick fort and experience history firsthand!

Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 “Old Fort Jackson Family Campover,” the annual event for families to experience history firsthand in a 210-year-old National Landmark. The event will take place on Friday, March 9rd at 5 pm through Saturday, March 10th at 9 am at Old Fort Jackson, 1 Fort Jackson Rd, Savannah, GA 31404.

This year’s check-in and tent setup will be from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm with the event kick-off to begin at 6:00 pm.  Dinner will be served at 6:45 pm, followed by many more fun and exciting military activities. During the event children and adults will train as soldiers, play period appropriate games, try quill letter writing, make crafts, and participate in flag training and drill station.

The next morning campers will rise, pack up their gear, enjoy a hot breakfast and participate in the event closing ceremonies. 

               

Preregistration and prepayment for the "Old Fort Jackson Family Campover" is required and tickets are $65 for children ages 6 to 15 years of age. Tickets are $45 for adults 16 years of age and older. 

Space for the "Old Fort Jackson Family Campover" is limited. Families are asked to bring their own tents and sleeping bags. A limited number of historic tents and wooden bunks will be available for rent at an additional fee of $20. Dinner, evening snacks, and a hot breakfast is included in the registration price. 

 Registration for the "Old Fort Jackson Family Campover" will close on Wednesday March, 7th. Barring event cancellation due to severe weather, tickets are non-refundable.

Pricing is $45 per adult (age 16 and up) and $65 per child (ages 6 to 15).
All participating children must have a supervising adult in attendance.
