Using Systems-Centered Training (SCT) in Groups:

Integrating theory, practice and experiential learning.

Friday April 21, 2023

10:30 - 4:30 pm ET  Online

If you Di We are excited to welcome Dr. Susan Gantt to facilitate this full day, online workshop focused on using systems-centered training (SCT) in group therapy. In this workshop the group will learn some of the fundamentals of SCT theory, explore putting this theory into practice and have the opportunity to experience SCT in a group setting.

Learning Objectives for the Workshop

  • Lowering our human pull to personalize by learning to see living human systems and not just people.
  • Learning how to put theory into practice with functional subgrouping, so that we can better integrate differences and lower our human pull to scapegoat.
  • Recognizing how our survivor roles that were once vital for our survival now stabilize us and our groups at the expense of group development.
