On May 21, 2015, Capitol Weekly & UC Center will host California Gaming, a day-long conference looking at the serious business of gaming in California. Gaming – poker, casinos, horse racing, cardrooms - is big business in California; the stars are aligning this session for major changes to this growth industry. Click here for the day's agenda.
This will be the 15th conference since 2010 on critical state issues jointly sponsored by Capitol Weekly and the UC Center.
California Gaming will feature two dozen experts and decision makers (including state officials, industry leaders and members of the press) looking at gaming policy in California. Issues to be covered include: Online Gaming, Fiscal Impacts, Regulation, Security, Capitol and Tribal Politics, Racetracks, Fantasy Sports, and Pending Legislation. The day will feature four panels and a luncheon Keynote.
Our Keynote speaker will be Lynn Valbuena, Chair of The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.

The Conference on Online Gaming will be held at 1123 J Street, three blocks from the state capitol. This event will be filmed for broadcast by the California Channel.
