3rd Statewide Forests and Drinking Water Forum – Focus on Action 

The objective of the forum is to have open discussion on how we can help protect sources of public drinking water supplies and support the forest sector. A special emphasis will be made on the opportunities provided by the 2018 Farm Bill source water protection provisions and the 2019 update of Arkansas’ Forest Action Plan. There will be extensive open discussion about our roles, responsibilities, needs and limitations. Participants will be given opportunity to forge local water and forest partnerships to protect forests and water resources.

There will be a registration fee of $20 to cover the cost of materials and supplies;  Meals will be provided.  NOTE:  The online registration deadline is October 25.  On-site registration will be available on the day of the forum, although payments of cash or check will only be accepted at that time.

The Arkansas Forests and Drinking Water Collaborative can provide up to 10 scholarships to cover registration, room and travel on a first come first serve basis.
