Description: Students will learn to knit a sweater from the neck down. The focus of this class will be designing your yoke (and other colorwork areas if desired), tricks to properly placed decreases (and increases!), and getting your design to fit the intended wearer.

Materials: 860-1250 yards of chunky-weight yarn and size 10 16” circular needles for the first session. (Suggested: Need A Circular Yoke? by Cabin Fever, available at Red Fox Yarns)

Homework: Please knit a 6" swatch in your yarn using size of needles with which you intend to knit your sweater. The swatch should be knit in the round.
