Join us for the 2017 Summer Meeting of the NC Division at the Dunn Shrine Club, 211 N Clinton Ave,.Dunn, NC 28334 (Phone: 910-892-6504).  With this meeting, we will hit the "reset button" on forest management trends in North Carolina. The meeting agenda includes excellent speakers, the annual awards banquet, the NC SAF Business Meeting, a lively social on Thursday night and an excellent tour on Friday morning. 

ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR THIS MEETING IS NOW CLOSED. PLEASE PLAN TO REGISTER AT THE DOOR IN DUNN STARTING AT 7AM ON THURSDAY, JUNE 8TH. REGISTRATION FEE MAY BE PAID WITH CASH (exact change please) OR CHECK MADE OUT TO "Sandhill SAF".

The summer meeting is always an excellent value with modest registration fees, 4.0 CFE in Category 1-CF on both days for a toal of 8, and lots of networking time with exhibitors and your fellow members and their families. This year the Friday field tour is included for everyone registering for the full summer meeting, or for those who can only attend on Friday, there is a tour-only option. Early registration discount of $15 will be given to those who register by May 7, 2017.

JUNE 9TH TECHNICAL TOUR TENTATIVE AGENDA

Field tour attendees assemble at Fairfield Inn parking lot for morning departure 7:30 AM. Load into buses and vans to leave at 8:00 AM. All vehicles will return to the Fairfield Inn parking lot by 1 PM. Tour stops to include a local lumber mill, Jerry G. Williams Lumber. 

MEETING LOCATION

The Dunn Shrine Club is located in Harnett County just of a few minutes west of ext 73 on Interstate 95. The street address is 211 N Clinton Ave,.Dunn, NC 28334 (Phone: 910-892-6504). All meeting sessions take place in the Shrine Club (pictured above) and ample free parking lots are available at both locations.

A limited number of guest rooms are set aside for our group - first come first served! Our group's discounted accommodations are at the Fairfield Inn and Suites, 513 Spring Branch Road in Dunn, a short drive from the Shrine Club. SILENT AUCTION AND RAFFLE ITEMS

The summer meeting is a great time to contribute to the future of our profession through the silent auction and the 50/50 raffle, both of which support the Funderburke Endowment. Tickets are on sale at the door and volunteers will be on hand to receive auction items from members, sponsors and exhibitors.
