Audience Development Study 2015: Group Consultation CORK
We are a trio of independent consultants Annette Nugent, Heather Maitland and Rachel Gibson. We have been appointed to carry out a study on audience development in Ireland on behalf of the Arts Council and in conjunction with Arts Audiences.
Our brief is to develop a clear understanding of the audience development needs of a broad cultural cohort, and to do an initial assessment of where the cultural sector might work with academic and/or business sectors.
To this end, we’d like to invite you to participate in a group workshop to help address questions arising from our work so far, including the following:
- Do the academic, business and cultural sectors have the same understanding of audience development?
- What do cultural/academic/corporate organisations want to know about audiences for the arts?
- How do we make arts audience development priorities a reality? Who needs to / can play a role?
