We're getting ready for three ECE advocacy events. Our advocacy will be most successful with united ECE provider and parent voices. Come find out more about the events, bring your creativity, and be part of shaping ECE advocacy and the ECE community in San Francisco.
We will build on these creative ideas to illustrate our ask at the next meeting:
*Stories-for website/social media * Making signs/posters * Skits/stories for skits
* Zines (little mini-magazines) * Developing chants * Identifying speakers
The Events:
- Two rallies during the Week of the Young Child:
- Monday, April 24 in Sacramento. SFCCPA is collaboration with the California Coalition for Equity in ECE (CCEECE) to send ECE parents and teachers to Sacramento.
- Friday, April 28 in San Francisco. Walk Around the Block, 10 AM at City Hall.
- Mid-May, SFCCPA's ECE Issues Luncheon, place and time TBD.
