The Keep Lockhart Beautiful Cleanup and Environmental Fair is set for its 10th year in 2017. This is Lockhart's premier community service opportunity for families, students, organizations and businesses. Register your group online to select your project and receive additional information. Please continue reading below for some important changes in 2017.
Changes for 2017 Event
In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, we at Keep Lockhart Beautiful recognize that our efforts to clean and beautify our cherished community are all part of a much larger call to service.
With this in mind we are asking our community of sponsors to look into their hearts and our community of volunteers to look into their kitchen cabinets in 2017.
For Sponsors
In lieu of donations to Keep Lockhart Beautiful this year, we are asking that you consider a donation to the Keep Texas Beautiful - REBUILDING TEXAS FUND to support Harvey relief efforts along the Texas Gulf Coast. When you donate you will have the opportunity to select "Keep Lockhart Beautiful" as your affiliate. We will honor local sponsors to the REBUILDING TEXAS FUND during a special ceremony on the morning of the event.
Special Letter to 2017 KLB Sponsors
For Volunteers
You know the “3 Rs”, REDUCE – REUSE – RECYCLE, so for our historic 10th edition of the KLB Cleanup and Environmental Fair, we are requesting that volunteers help us conserve resources by wearing an old t-shirt (previous KLB Cleanup, other event) and bringing their own supplies (gloves, trash bags, etc.).
Keep reading below for more information on the 2017 Keep Lockhart Beautiful Cleanup and Environmental Fair and check out the Plum Creek Watershed Partnership Facebook Page for Updates.

After the photo, volunteers are encouraged to walk or carpool the short distance to your selected project. All litter collected may be left at designated drop-off locations.

Please note that we have expanded the scope of Keep Lockhart Beautiful in 2017 with more project opportunites from seeding wildflowers to decorating downtown planters. We have also placed a limit on volunteers for the City Park cleanup to ensure all volunteers know that their efforts will make an impact where it is needed most in the community. You will have the opportunity to select your project when you register.
