In the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course, you will reinforce and enhance your skills in the treatment of pediatric arrest and periarrest patients through active participation in simulated pediatric emergencies.
The course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to teach and reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.
The PALS course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. Personnel that include: emergency, intensive, or critical care personnel; physicians, nurses, EMTs, paramedics.
Part 1 is a web-based, self-directed program and will take approximately 4 hours to complete.
Parts 2 & 3 take place a scheduled class times at ABIA

The cost is just $180.00, the price includes an electronic textbook and the classroom portion. A book may be purchased separately from the AHA website.
If you would like to sign up for only PALS parts 2/3, the cost is $75.00. Please click the registration link and indicate part 2/3.
*Note: You must demonstrate successful completion of PALS Part 1 to attend the in-person Part 2/3 Sessions. Please bring your HeartCodeŽ PALS Part 1 certificate of completion to the session.
After you have completed your registration and payment, an email will be sent to you with your activation key and instructions for completing Part One.
