School Leaders Network cordially invites you to an Information session to learn about how we improve leadership and schools:

Experience how professional learning and collaboration serve as levers to accelerate school improvement and student outcomes for SLN leaders

Come join us for a School Leaders Network (SLN) Information Session where you can experience what your colleagues are calling, “The 4 most productive hours of development I have each month!”  School Leaders Network provides high quality learning communities for aspiring, assistant and practicing school leaders to build strong collegial relationships, push their practice, and increase their skills in the research-based leadership actions that improve student achievement.

During this information session for DC Charter Leaders you will have the opportunity to experience how School Leaders Network uses a research-based leadership framework, a rigorous learning community model and a highly skilled facilitator to support school leaders in creating high quality schools with strong teaching and learning and accelerated student achievement. You will experience first hand how powerful collaborative conversations about practice can transform your leadership and build your capacity to improve outcomes for your students. Together with other focused school leaders you will:

  • Reflect upon the impact of key school initiatives you have accomplished this year
  • Learn how the SLN Design for Leading Framework supports leadership development and whole school improvement
  • Utilize the SLN Framework to begin to plan thoughtful leadership actions to continuously improve outcomes for your students next year

This is an authentic opportunity to collaboratively learn and plan for your school success that you do not want to miss!

SLN leaders speak very highly of the quality of the experience in our communities of learners. The SLN DC Cohort’s Mid-Year Survey, reflected the following:

  • 90% of SLN-TFA DC members reported they experienced opportunities to learn from the expertise of colleagues.
  • 100% felt safe to openly speak about issues in their school.
  • 100% reported experiencing concrete conversations related to their school leader practice.
  • 80% increased their focus on instructional leadership
  • 80% increased their knowledge of high leverage strategies that change outcomes for students.
