CEX Member Night @ Cape Cod Coffee 

Please join us for the Creative Exchange Member Night @Cape Cod Coffee! We welcome all CEX members and those interested in becoming a member to join us on May 4th from 5-7 p.m. Member Nights provide a relaxed and inclusive networking opportunity for Cape creatives.

This May we are spotlighting artist, Desirée Filkins.  Desirée is a Cape Cod native and artist working in many forms of media specifically oils. She specializes in landscapes, still life, figure, and portraits. A constant theme in her work is painting the light; figuratively and literally. She is always refining how to better translate that to the viewer with an interesting and fresh perspective. “I’m honored and blessed to paint with incredible artists here on the cape notably Rosalie Nadeau; who’s been a great friend and mentor to me. My ambition is that you take something personal away from my work even if it's a familiar memory or a thought provoked. I will be honored if my work is the catalyst for someone to be inspired to help change the world.”
