What are the requirements for someone to be nominated?
Nominees must have served in the military or as a first responder and are now making a difference in the community through volunteering. They may have served in any branch or agency across the U.S. but must currently live in the Quad Cities area. All generations of first responders and veterans from any conflict are encouraged to be nominated.
Can I still attend the awards dinner if I don't know any of the honorees?
Yes! We want all the honorees (and nominees) to know how much the community appreciates them! Tickets are open to anyone who would like to to help us celebrate these heroes.
How much are tickets to the awards dinner? Can children attend?
The tickets are $40 per person, $70 per couple; there are discounted rates for tables of 8. Children may attend but it is not encouraged as there are no activities for them.
Are there sponsorship opportunities?
Yes! We are looking for sponsors to buy tables of 8 for veterans and first responders in the community to attend. Sponsors will be promoted at the event. Contact Cristi Rose at 928-499-9442 for more information.
Who do proceeds from the event benefit?
Proceeds from the event will benefit the veterans, first responders and horses of Bethany's Gait Ranch. Bethany's Gait is a 501(c)3 organization in Prescott that rescues, rehabilitates and restores the lives of military, first responders, their families and horses in need.
