2016 Ramadan Day of Service

Come join CAIR Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Muslim community as we reach out to the local community and give back by volunteering our time at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. We will be packaging food during the fasting hours to help Oklahomans in need.

Anyone is welcome to join us at this event. However, there are only 190 volunteer spots available so be sure to reserve your space early!

Volunteers must be over the age of 8. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If under the age of 18, make sure parental consent form is filled out (consent form available here).

Volunteers are truly the lifeblood of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Whether you are packing boxes of food that will end up on the kitchen table of a family struggling with hunger, tending a row of tomato plants that will end up in the salad bar at a Kids Café site for inner city children, or distributing bags of food to seniors living on fixed incomes, it all makes a difference in the lives of our Oklahoma neighbors.
