Guest Speaker - Sayres Dudley

Sayres Dudley specializes in searches in the financial services sector, primarily within the real estate industry. Sayres also leads the North Texas office, and works collaboratively with DHR colleagues across many disciplines

Prior to joining DHR in 2012, Sayres was the founding President of Dudley & Associates, which he launched in 1983, with offices in Dallas and Pasadena, CA. In 2007, Dudley & Associates was recognized by the LA Business Journal as one of the Top 20 executive search firms in Southern California. He has completed hundreds of searches in commercial real estate, private equity, manufacturing and other business lines, both nationally and globally.

After graduating from Ferrum College, Sayres served six years in the United States Air Force. He then entered the recruiting business in 1978 with the Dial Agency Group, Dallas' second largest recruiting company, and was top producer four straight years. In 1981, he received the honor of Highest Producer for the Dallas/Fort Worth area among member companies in the local association.

Sayres holds memberships in NAREIT, ULI, TREC, and NAIOP and was a founding advisor of the highly acclaimed Young Professionals Group (YPG) of the NAIOP SoCal Chapter. He has been a speaker and panelist for real estate conferences and been quoted and published articles in various magazines. He is the author of Marketplace Reflections, an online national newsletter in distribution since 1996, and co-author of a white paper on hiring in the new residential mortgage world. He was recently interviewed for the CREW Network’s newest publication, “Working with Executive Recruiters”. Sayres is an advocate for issues related to justice for women and children, and the elimination of slavery world-wide.

Sayres' wife is Dr. Kathy Dudley, President of Imani Bridges, a ministry in Nigeria. They have two sons, Jonathan and David, and three grandchildren.
