Conflict Management Skills for Productive Conversations

Tuesday Nov. 6, 2018
9 a.m.-noon
Pre-registration at 8:30 a.m.

Description

It is a well-known fact that a degree of conflict in the workplace is necessary to create healthy dialogue, hear from all stakeholders and find the best way forward.  Unfortunately, few people are skilled in navigating the rocky waters of conflict and instead will either avoid it altogether or power through it leaving behind the debris of hurt feelings and misunderstandings.

This workshop introduces participants to strategies and tools for boosting one’s ability to deal with challenging personalities and habits, manage sensitive and difficult issues, and use difficult conversations as an opportunity for rich learning.  This course also will enhance the participants’ communication and conversation ability.

Early-Bird Nonprofit Rate (through Oct. 23, 2018): $25
Nonprofit Rate (after Oct. 23, 2018): $35
Market Rate (applies to for-profit agencies): $200 per person

Cancellation Policy

Participants who register for the workshop and do not attend or offer a replacement will be charged a $150 cancellation fee. Participants who cancel their registration on or before 5PM ET on Tuesday Oct. 30, 2018 will have the fee waived. To cancel a registration for the workshop, please do so by e-mailing mstewart@interactforhealth.org, or calling 513-458-6680
