How do you run your financial planning practice? How do other successful firms or teams run their financial planning practices? What are the various opportunities or roles within a financial services firm or team? What are some of the benefits and challenges of starting your own practice versus joining an ensemble? When does a broker-dealer affiliation make sense? What are the benefits and challenges of a large broker-dealer versus an independent practice?
If you’ve wondered about the answers to these questions, the FPA East Bay chapter has arranged three (3) financial planning firm tours this year to give members a chance to explore and learn how others are building their practices. Each firm has volunteered their time and will open up their offices to share their best practices and knowledge. Please prepare some questions to maximize your time.
Attendance will be limited to 5-15 FPA members per location depending on size of firm so register early as spots will fill up fast. It will be on a first come first serve basis. The registration cost will be $10 for each firm visit.
There will be an optional informal gathering for happy hour after each event.
