Waterfront Wellness Classroom Series - Mindfulness
To compliment our free fitness classes, Medifast is offering a series of classroom style programs geared to support a healthy lifestyle.
The first class in the series will be highlighting Mindfulness: Mindfulness, the practice of being fully present in the moment, has been shown to promote well-being and positive emotions, and reduce negative moods and stress. But with all the stresses of daily life who has the time? This class will teach you how to incorporate simple mindfulness practices into your everyday life that will help you to deal with stress and worry by appreciating what you’ve got right now.
These classes are free to attend, but registration is required. Space is limited to 25.
Our joint mission with Medifast is to provide long-term health and wellness for our community. With Medifast’s support, we hope to grow the Waterfront Wellness series and help more city residents take the first steps toward getting into shape!
