Breakthrough in Research and Education Workshop (BREW)

Please join us for the 5th annual Wisconsin MRSEC-sponsored Breakthrough in Research and Education Workshop (BREW) to be held on Friday, October 28, 2016. This MRSEC event aims to explore the latest advances in materials research and translate those research themes into new educational activities. This year's BREW will take place in the Northwoods Room of Union South starting at 12:00pm. Lunch will be provided.

This year the focus of the education workshop is on Game-Based Learning. Participants will begin to design educational games based on MRSEC research. David Gagnon, the director of the Field Day Lab and a new member of the MRSEC Education group, will be leading the workshop.
