2012 Virtual School Symposium 

In November 2012, Florida's District Virtual Instruction Program's Virtual School Symposium (VSS) will bring together more than 350 teachers, administrators, and decision-makers from state, district, private, and other virtual school programs to attend the Florida's K-12 online and blended learning conference. Teachers and administrators in K-12 virtual education will have robust networking opportunities; learn about the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in e-learning; interact in session presentations; and gain access to the latest research and best practices reports.

The Virtual School Symposium highlights the cutting-edge work in K-12 online education across the State of Florida. It is the only statewide conference focused solely on the needs and interests of district-operated K-12 online and blended learning programs.   Leading practitioners, policy-makers and advocates seeking to develop and support e-learning programs within Florida's 67 school districts attend it.

The VSS Program Committee is now accepting sponsors, exhibitors, and proposals for presentations at the conference. Proposals will be accepted online until 11:59 pm (Eastern), on Monday, October 1, 2012. For more information or to submit a proposal please complete the event registration process below. The VSS Program Committee will notify applicants on proposal status/acceptance by October 12, 2012.
