Indiana Optometry's Meeting 2019 - IUSO
Join Indiana Optometrists at French Lick Springs Hotel, Saturday, April 13, 2019! Round trip transportation is available from IUSO for $15. The day includes lectures, lunch, IOA's Trade Show, the IUOSA Quiz Bowl, OD/Student Networking Mixer, a Student Workshop presented by Johnson & Johnson Vision and the IOA's President's Reception. This event features a "speed dating" style of networking. Meet ODs from IU Externship and Residency Sites, as well as ODs looking for associates and summer help. RSVP to ekollbau@indiana.edu. Attire is business casual.

Student Transition Workshop & OD Panel Discussion
Presented by Johnson & Johnson Vision, this verbally interactive session will highlight the importance of why focusing on the patient experience is critical as you transition into practice. In addition, we will highlight the new ACUVUE OASYS with Transitions technology and discuss where the opportunity lies through category insight and offer conversation/communication tips on how to effectively offer new technology to patients. This session will end with an open mic OD panel discussion to discuss key topics on what is most important when transitioning from student to OD. Presenter: Josh Meredith, Strategic Account Manager, Academic Institutions, Johnson & Johnson Vision
