C5ISR Center Technical Interchange with Industry (Virtual)

The bi-annual C5ISR Center Technical Interchange with Industry is an opportunity for industry to learn about C5ISR Center's core mission and research and development activities. The 2020 event, as you are aware, was cancelled.  However, we are pleased to offer the exchange of information to registered and cleared company POCs. Please note - only one release of documents per company cage code.

UPDATE as of 5 June 2020::  We have received numerous questions surrounding this event.  We want to clarify that this will NOT be a virtual live event.  This event is solely a mechanism for us to provide you with the UNCLASSIFIED/FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY materials that would have been presented and distributed at the live forum.  Clearance verification is required in the registration process in order to fully vet all registrants.  All registration steps must be fully completed by 12 June at 1700 hrs.  As a reminder, your registration is not considered complete until all steps are completed and you receive a confirmation email with the subject: “Your registration is confirmed”. The target date to provide you with access to the briefings is 17 July 2020.

We request that only ONE PERSON per company register. If multiple people from the same company register, we will work to process the first registration received and all other registrations from the same company will not be considered.

The process for getting access to the documents is as follows:

  1. Company POCs must complete the registration form.  You will be able to do this on the next screen.
  2. Company POCs must meet all the security requirements.  See below for instructions on how to complete the security requirements.
  3. Once registration is complete and you have met the security requirements, we will send you additional information to access the documents.

Security and Eligibility

1. Registrants must be U.S. Citizens.
2. Clearance Verification requests are required to complete the registration process.

Q&As as of 5 June 2020:

Q: The announcement on beta.SAM.gov states that ‘registration will be limited to one person per company.’ I’m wondering how that restriction will be implemented, will it be by CAGE code?

A: "The intent is one POC per Company.  The Special Notice states one POC per CAGE code because CAGE codes are an indicator of valid Industry partners registered with the Government.  This is consistent with how the C5ISR Center handled distribution of slide material last year and is how we plan to manage distribution of slide material for next year."

Q: How are you managing the distribution of materials?

A: "One person per Company is consistent with how we managed the distribution of materials last year.  Two people were allowed to register and attend the in-person event but only ONE person was provided the slide material.  This virtual event is a distribution of slide material at the Unclassified//FOUO level. Consistent with last year, ONE POC per company will receive the opportunity to download the materials and distribute appropriately throughout their company."

Q: Will the person who is registered be able to forward the documents to other people within their company after they download them?  Any restrictions on that?

A: "This material is not Public Release information, it is UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO material and therefore the recipient must be cleared to receive that information.  The VR process provides us the information necessary to adjudicate the recipients."
