Mitchell Gossett is one of the most respected talent agents in the Industry today. He is an “über-agent” who has worked for the most prestigious talent agencies in Hollywood.  Mitchell represents some of the most successful rising stars currently working in the film and television industries. His clients can be seen in major motion pictures, and on television almost every day of the week.  Mitchell recently returned o CESD Talent Agency as the Senior Vice President of Talent/Motion Picture/Television Division, where he directs the agency’s Los Angeles and New York operations for motion pictures, television, and theatre.. During his tenure at CESD, Mitchell has built a renowned scouting operation for the young talent.

Prior to CESD, Mitchell was an agent with the powerhouse United Talent Agency, and owned and operated Gossett Entertainment Management, where he produced films and theatre and managed actors with strong theatrical backgrounds.

 Mitchell studied theatre and acting at the New York University (NYU) School of the Arts Bachelor of Fine Arts program, State University of New York/Buffalo and holds a Master’s Degree in Acting from Cornell University. He studied acting with members of The National Theatre of Great Britain. Mitchell is the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of the Los Angeles based theatre company Bottom’s Dream, an organization committed to premiering innovative American writers. Mitchell has also been honored with a Backstage West Garland Award for Performance.

 Variety, the prestigious trade paper for the entertainment industry, wrote the following about Mitchell: “His agenting method draws from his previous careers as actor, director, and talent manager. Thus, his clients get a hands-on rep who speaks their language, understands their struggle, and can offer credible advice on how to improve their work.
