2022 West Central Texas

Emergency Preparedness Conference

The West Central Texas Council of Governments (WCTCOG) along with State and Local Emergency & Preparedness organizations are working to host the West Central Texas Emergency Preparedness Conference to be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the City of Abilene Convention Center.

The intent of this one-day conference is to bring the region’s emergency management and preparedness stakeholders together for discussion, networking, and education on issues of common concern and interest here in the West Texas area on natural and man-caused disasters and hazards.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Ready for What Comes Next”.

Target audience includes local and county officials, emergency managers, coordinators, first responders, healthcare, public health, military, and other organizations involved in emergency preparedness and response in the region.

This year’s conference will include a General Opening Session and Three Break-out Sessions that will include several workshop/presentations per each break-out session on various Emergency Preparedness and Management topics.

Coffee, Morning Refreshments, and BBQ Lunch included!
