Effective Marketing that Reaches ALL Ages & All Generations
Presented by Matt Thornhill
The days of marketing to a single audience, or even to an age cohort of 25-54, or 18-49, doesn’t make sense anymore in today’s fragmented media marketplace. The CMOs of the future will be the ones that figure out how to sell products and services across all generations. That’s why we have invited Matt Thornhill, president and founder of GenerationsMatter to speak at the September member luncheon event.
Effective Marketing that Reaches ALL Ages & All Generations will help you better understand the generational dynamics in the marketplace today, and shares strategies and tactics for developing communications that can reach all generations. Filled with examples, this engaging and insightful presentation will change how you think about targeting forever.
Matt Thornhill’s misspent youth was in the advertising business, working in New York for Bates and Ogilvy, then for The Martin Agency for ten years. His claim to fame is that he started Martin Interactive back in 1994, long before anyone thought Al Gore’s internet was that big a deal. Plus, he hired Matt Williams, the current CEO of The Martin Agency.
Today Thornhill runs GenerationsMatter, the new think tank from SIR Research and the Boomer Project. Focusing on marketing research and consulting, his firms past clients include Google, Walmart, Lowes Home Improvement, Hershey’s, General Mills, and AARP.
Thornhill speaks at 40+ conferences and events across the country every year and has delivered keynote addresses in Spain, Brazil, Canada and Panama.
