2013 International Trade Certification 

The World Trade Center Kentucky (WTC-KY) in partnership with Northern Kentucky International Trade Association will host its 3rd Annual International Trade Certification program in May 2013.   This three day program, which leads to the certification of International Commerce Specialist, will be taught by experts from banking, tax, legal, customs compliance, market intelligence, freight forwarding, customs brokerage and government. The skills and knowledge gained from this certification program will provide the foundation for effective and efficient management of a company's international trade operations.  In addition, the program is designed to develop skilled professionals in international trade that can spearhead the future growth of U.S. trade.

Audience                        

The program is intended for the following roles: international sales, international marketing, international logistics, international trade compliance, U.S. Customs compliance, credit management, accounting, finance, and  economic development.

Prerequisites                  

We encourage participants with at least one year of experience in a role with an international trade component to participate in this program (e.g. logistics analyst who handles international shipments).

Requirements

Attendance at the entire program and a score of 70% on online test to qualify for the Certification of International Commerce Specialist.
