We are a community of caring women engaged in doing Tikkun Olam, Social Action, study and FUN!
Our Mission Statement:
Women of Rodef Sholom – Sisterhood (WRS) is an organization of women who join together to promote the general well-being of our Reform Jewish congregation, foster tikkun olam/social action, and create opportunities for individual growth through study, spirituality and social activities
An example of the things we do:
(Due to COVID-19 health restrictions, we are meeting virtually at this time; we hope to return to in-person gatherings soon)
Your Membership Supports:
- Annual Women's Multi-Generational Seder
- Annual Women's Retreat
- Annual Shabbat Service where WRS leads the entire congregation in uplifting prayer
- Annual Trivia Night - a fun filled, adult evening that supports our Tikkun Olam Fund *
- Membership Social gatherings for Hanukah and other times
- Study of Jewish text with exemplary Jewish Educators
- Participate in Social Action causes like Pride Parade, lobbying locally, in Sacramento, Nationally and Internationally in support of women issues that speak to our Mission Statement
