Korey Howell has a well-established reputation in the Austin area for providing a professional and personable studio photography experience resulting in dynamic, flattering portraits. And her state-of-the-art photography, editing and retouching skills have delivered corporate and individual portraits to thousands of happy clients.

 

Topic Description: 

Do you want to invest in yourself?  Whether you own your own business, work for a large corporation, or are searching for a new opportunity, you want to put your best foot forward.  We have a very special opportunity for members to learn more about professional appearance and about how to present oneself in the best light possible.  We are very excited to have Korey Howell, a professional photographer who specializes in headshots for use on websites, resumes, and social media, to provide each participant with a photo shoot and a headshot for you to take with you.

 

We are excited to provide our members with this opportunity.  The regular cost for this photo session is $70, and we will also provide a professional to do hair and makeup touchups as well as appetizers and cocktails.

 

What to Wear:

• For ladies, jewel tones (red, royal blue, purple) dark colors (black, charcoal, navy) and work great. Pastels typically wash out unless paired with something dark. Contrast is good. The exception to the rule is a white or cream suit can look great with the right lighting and background.
• For gentlemen,dark colors (black, charcoal, navy) work great paired with a white or colored, collared shirt. Tie or no tie is your preference. If you do wear a tie, color is less important than pattern. Busy patterns will steal attention away from your face. Do, however, feel free to express yourself with your tie.
• Avoid bulky or heavy material, busy patterns, turtlenecks or deep, plunging necklines.
• Your accessories should fit your style. If you are conservative, keep it simple. If you use jewelry to make a statement, go for it.

Members of CFA Society of Austin are invited at a charge of $30.  This is a Members Only Event.  Membership will be verified after registration. Members of other CFA Societies within Texas may attend as members.  Please indicate the city you are a member of on the registration page.
