Leah R Bennett, CFA, CIC, is Co-Chief Investment Officer for South Texas Money Management.  Prior to joining STMM in 2013, she spent 18 years with King Investment Advisors in Houston as a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer.  And prior to that, Ms. Bennett was a research analyst with Capital Research & Management in Los Angeles.  Ms. Bennett received a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University.  She current serves as the CFA Institute Presidents' Council Representative for the South Central US, Latin and South America Region and is co-founder of the CFA Institute - Southwest US Research Challenge.  She serves on the M. A. Wright Fund Oversight Board, Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, Rice University and is a Texas Angel for the Texas Wall Street Women.  She is a frequent guest of Bloomberg TV.

Members of CFA Society of Austin are invited at no charge.  Membership will be verified after registration.  Members of other CFA Societies within Texas may attend as members.  Please indicate the city you are a member of on the registration page.
