Joann S. Lublin, a Pulitzer Prize winning jounalist for The Wall Street Journal, will describe common leadership traits among 52 high-level corporate women interviewed for her new book "Earning It: Hard-Won Lessons from Trailblazing Women at the Top of the Business World". Nearly two-thirds of those executives are experienced public-company CEOs, including Mary Barra at General Motors, Ginni Rometty at IBM and Meg Whitman at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Joann is the managment news editor for The Wall Street Journal. She works with reporters in the U.S. and abroad to conceptualize and organize coverage of management and workplace issues. She covers issue such as corporate governance, executive compensation, recruiting and succession and writes stories on these topics, mainly for the Journal's front page and Marketplace section. She assumed her duties in December 2002.
