CoCEAL Membership Meeting

Please join CoCEAL for our membership meeting on Friday, November 2nd at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. On Thursday we will be hosting and evening social at 5:30pm at Tecate Grill (1501 W. Elizabeth St. #2, Fort Collins, CO 80521.

Presentations will include a panel of CSU administrators sharing lessons learned from a series of racial campus incidents during the 2017-2018 academic year. In the afternoon, we will be joined by Dr. Ramona Beltran from the University of Denver. Dr. Beltran's scholarship focuses on the intersections of historical trauma, embodiment, and environmental/social determinants of health as they affect health and risk behaviors in indigenous communities. She will be focusing on historical trauma and healing and the ways Latinx communities share similar colonial experiences to Northern Indigenous people.

Lastly, we will be announcing the winners of the Impact Awards during the meeting.
