Industrial & Geotechnical Injection Grout School
Houston, TX  |  March 13-14, 2019

 This school focuses on the knowledge needed to make decisions in the field, technologies and techniques for achieving maximum results, and a common sense approach to problem solving with injection of acrylic, polyurethane and cementitious grouts.

The two-day session includes both classroom instruction and workshop demonstration, and will present technical information on:

    • Fundamentals of grout chemistry
    • Soil analysis from sand to bedrock
    • Grouting underground structures
    • Curtain grouting
    • Slab lifting 
    • Proven techniques for crack injection

 Attendees will receive:
    • Credit for (10) Professional Development Hours (PDH) certified by CIGMAT 
    • SOPP certification (Safe Operating Practices Program) 
    • Training documentation and product manuals 
    • Personalized Certificate of Completion

Reema Zuberi, P.E., M.B.A.
Area Manager - Grouting Solutions for Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada Ltd. 
Twenty years of work experience in the North American construction industry with ten as Project Manager for a US-based General Contractor focusing on commercial and industrial facilities. Thyssen is an underground mining contractor with 5,800 employees globally. Reema has a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Ohio and a Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in California.
Brian Jeppsen
VP Research and Development for Hess Pumice 
Jeppsen began working with Hess Pumice in the 1970s. He then transitioned to the concrete industry and the oil fields, bringing exposure to various cementitious products. After serving in the US Air Force Reserves, he returned to Hess Pumice in 1997 and currently serves as the Vice President of Research
