You will participate at one of several tables with your neighbors, to discuss the way that Mecklenburg County might grow over the next 40 years.
With information from people who have already participated in CONNECT Our Future, along with your own sense of your community, you will have the opportunity to map our the growth for Mecklenburg County.
It is a great chance to meet and work with people from across your county and to think about the future you want to see!

Three identical CONNECT Our Future Community Growth Workshop sessions will be offered during the day. Select the time that best fits your schedule.
- Share your commitment and encourage other people to attend. Involve people at work, in your neighborhood, at your place of worship. Encourage others who share your interests to join us!
- Who else would you like us to reach out to about participating at the Mecklenburg County Central II Community Growth Workshop? You can submit your suggestions during registration or e-mail them directly to Sushil Nepal at snepal@centralina.org
Why is your participation so important?
Our two-state, 14-county region is expected to grow by another 1.8 million people and 860,000 jobs by 2050. Since the fall of 2012,CONNECT Our Future has engaged more than 2,500 citizens through over 100 different venues to learn how people want their communities and the
region to grow.
