KDB's 2019 Great American Cleanup 

For 30 years, Dentonites have taken an active role in keeping their city clean and beautiful by participating in the Great American Cleanup (GAC). GAC is part of a national effort with Keep America Beautiful, and more than 20,000 communities take part each year.

This year our goal is to have 1,800 Denton volunteers and to collect 9 tons of litter at GAC. These dedicated community members removed trash and recycling from our city’s streets, waterways, and public spaces, leaving Denton visibly cleaner and more beautiful.

The Great American Cleanup is held from 9-11 a.m. Join us at the Civic Center from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for a Volunteer After-Party featuring live music, bounce houses, FREE lunch from In-N-Out Burger and Leila's Food Truck, and contest prizes for "Largest Cleanup Group," "Most Bags Collected," and "Oddest Littered Item."
