VT CSI Spring CDT Certification Study Group 

The Construction Specifications Institute offers four core certifications for the AEC industry. The pre-requisite to the advanced certifications is the Construction Documents Technology (CDT) Program.  The CDT provides a comprehensive overview for anyone who writes, interprets, enforces, or manages construction documents.

By being able to understand and interpret written construction documents, CDTs perform their jobs more effectively. By understanding the roles and relationships of all participants, CDTs improve communication among all members of the construction team.

As of July 1, 2018, the Construction Documents Technology (CDT) program has transitioned from a certificate to a certification, which along with the advanced certifications of Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA), Certified Construction Specifier (CCS) and Certified Construction Product Representative (CCPR) represent the Gold Standard within AEC.

Attendance does not include a copy of CSI's 'Project Delivery Resource Guide', which is heavily recommended reading for the CDT study group. The PDRG can be purchased through the CSI webstore.

CSI Vermont is hosting a six-week in person CDT Certification study group on Wednesday's, starting March 6 through April 10 from 5:30 to 7:30pm for the Spring testing period of April 15 - May 24, 2019. 

This will be hosted at the TruexCullins conference room in downtown Burlington, Vermont.  Pizza and drinks will be provided weekly. Costs are $60 for CSI members and $120 for non-CSI members.
