New Revenue Recognition and Lease Standards 

ASU 2014-09 Revenue from Contracts with Customers (ASU 2014-09) replaces nearly all previous revenue recognition rules and affects all entities (public, private, & nonprofit) that enter into contracts to provide goods or services with customers. 

ASU 2016-02 Leases (ASU 2016-02) is an overhaul of the current lease accounting standards and will impact all companies and organizations with leases.
