3PRESENTS IN-PERSON MAKE-UP CLASSES FOR 2019-2020
NC REAL ESTATE CONTINUING EDUCATION
During the 90-day Extension Period ending September 30, 2020, as a result of COVID-19

IF YOU CAN'T COMPLETE YOUR CE BY JUNE 10, 2020, WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED...
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SCROLLING DOWN TO CLASS INFORMATION:

At their meeting on Wednesday, April 15, the NC Real Estate Commission voted to extend the moratorium (temporary prohibition) on in-person classes through June 30; therefore, we had to cancel our May classes. The classes listed below will be held in July and August during the 90-day extension period.

So for those who have not yet completed their CE for this year and want in-person classes, what do you do now about renewing your license on active status, since you can't complete your CE before June 10?

•    Anyone who has not completed their required CE by June 10 will be given an automatic 90-day extension in which to make up the CE hours you missed -- no Commission request form is needed.

•    Per the Real Estate Commission, the current year's (2019-2020) Update courses (BIC and General) will not be available after June 10, so if you missed all 8 hours of CE (both the Update and Elective), you will need to take two (2) 4-hour elective courses to make up for the 8 hours missed and maintain active status.

If you have already taken one CE course (either the Update or Elective) but missed the other one, you will need to take one (1) 4-hour elective course to make up for the 4 hours missed and maintain active status.

NOTE:  The Update courses that will be available after July 1, 2020, will only be for the new 2020-2021 license year and cannot be used to make up missed hours from this (2019-2020) license year. ]

•   Be sure to pay your license renewal fee online by June 30 to keep your license current -- the extension only applies to CE, not renewal.
