Every year in Spring, REDI holds Business Appreciation Week (BAW) to thank local companies for choosing Rockville as their place of business.
The week consists of visits to 50+ outstanding companies in Rockville by REDI staff and its team of ambassadors, including the Mayor & Council, the REDI Board of Directors, the Rockville Chamber of Commerce Board, and Senior Staff from the City of Rockville.

What is involved in a visit?
Lasting around 45 minutes, several ambassadors will meet with your team to learn about your company, develop a greater understanding of your business needs, and provide information or tools that may help you thrive.

When do the visits take place?
Each day offers hourly time slots for visits between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
|
Why does REDI do this?
This event is one way the City of Rockville likes to thank local businesses for having their businesses in the City. There are other places you could do your business and we just want to thank you for choosing Rockville.
What's in it for me?
Your ambassador group will consist of a combination of local business leaders on the Rockville Chamber of Commerce Board, the REDI Board, Senior Staff of the City and/or the Mayor & Council Members, and thus are there to answer any questions you may have about doing business in Rockville; resources of whom to contact for certain issues and information about what you may need to know, and what the City can do to help you, to do business here.

Breakfast is included!
After each Business Appreciation Week, REDI hosts a wrap-up breakfast for all participants and ambassadors to mingle and hear our insights from the week. This year's event will take place on Friday, April 14th, with more details to follow.
