Housing Rehab: A Win-Win for Everyone 

Over a dozen houses and $500,000 await attention from Fremont area contractors.  Currently, the city of Fremont has over half a million dollars in grants to help fund housing rehabilitation projects.  The funds must be used for weatherization related improvements and the work must be done by contractors who have gone through an uncomplicated, and free, registration process.  

First State Bank & Trust Co. will welcome Jean Van Iperen, Office Associate with the City of Fremont, who will explain how the grants can be used, as well as walk area contractors through the brief registration process.  Contractors who would benefit most from this informational session include those who specialize in siding, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, flooring, and windows/doors.
