2022-7 Med Tech Training 

15 Weeks 

SMITHFIELD/LINCOLN CAMPUS

CLASSES BEGIN ON Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 6 p.m.

 

l CNA's holding a current RI state license are given the opportunity to attain their medical administration certification over a period of fifteen weeks, by attending classes one (1) time per week for approximately three (3) hours at a time. At the end of the course a final exam is administered . All students with a minimum grade of 70% are eligible for certification.

 

ALL STUDENTS MUST SHOW PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION FROM COVID-19

$25.00 FEE DISCOUNT FOR STUDENTS PAYING CASH IN FULL AT REGISTRATION  -  $575.00

IN PERSON Registration on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., OR BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS!

  • All MedTech students MUST bring a Letter of Recommendation from the Director of Nursing at the facility they are working, a copy of their CNA license, proof of high school diploma or completion of GED and photo ID to the Introduction/Orientation Class.  Students who do not have this documentation will NOT be allowed to attend any classes until such dcoumentation is received.
  • All Non-US Citizens MUST provide proof of legal residence at first class. Any student without this information will NOT be allowed to attend any classes until such documentation is received. 
  • Acceptable documents for proof of residence are as follows:
  • Immigrant (applied for permanent residence in U.S.)
  • Non-immigrant status or non-resident alien (must present green card or student or non-resident alien visa)
  • All non-U.S. Citizens must provide citizenship papers
