Journey into the Subtle Mind

Intro to Mahamudra Tantra

4 SESSION COURSE

SUNDAYS IN AUGUST, 12:00 - 2:00 PM
AUG 6 - 27

Mahamudra is the union of great bliss and emptiness – the most subtle mind that experiences great bliss and realizes ultimate truth, the way things actually exist.

"Mahamudra tantra is a quick method for attaining enlightenment", Geshe Kelsang Gyatso explains in his book of the same name. It is a powerful practice of realizing  subtle levels of our mind, training in 6 stages, which we then use to attain realizations leading to the ultimate bliss of enlightenment.

In this four-week special course, we will practice the six stages of mahamudra, learning to identify and realize directly through meditation, our own mind, our subtle mind, and our very subtle mind, through which we can attain ultimately the union of bliss and emptiness.

Since it is through our mind that we create our world, we can see that everything depends onour mind, and we need to experience our mind directly so that we can use its power.
