Pierre de Gaillande sings Georges Brassens in English.
BAD REPUTATION, composer/singer/songwriter Pierre de Gaillande's latest musical venture, is a translation of the lyrics of iconic French anarchist poet/singer Georges Brassens into English.
A Bad Reputation CD was released in June 2010 on Barbes Records. Pierre performs these songs with an all-star band at venues in New York and abroad to great acclaim. He is currently at work on a second installment.
Pierre has been featured on NPR's The World with Scott Simon, as well as French TV station TV5, and the project has been featured in countless publications and radio programs in France, Spain, and the US.
This will be Bad Reputation's first performance at Tony Powe's 2nd Floor on Clinton Salon Events.
