Join us on Friday, November 10 for the first Shabbat Salon of the season! This month our guest speaker is TBH member Gary M. Franklin, MD, MPH.
Dr. Franklin reported the first opioid related deaths in the US and has been working diligently both in Washington and nationally to reverse this man mad scourge. His presentation will discuss "Reversing the Opioid Epidemic: How To Really Abate the Emergency."
We will begin with a full Shabbat service at 6:00 p.m. followed by a catered dinner and speaker in the Social Hall at 7:00 p.m.
Dinner is $10 per person. If you are paying by check, please mail your payment to TBH or drop your payment in the Office Mail Box in the foyer by the admin office. Registration for dinner is available through Wednesday, November 8th at 3 p.m.
Once dinner registration has closed, payment for dinner is non-refundable if you have to cancel. However, you may transfer your dinner ticket to another person. If you choose to pay by check/cash, please contact the office to make arrangments.
Important Note: Event Registration is for the dinner ONLY.
You may attend the service and/or speaker presentation
without having dinner.
Gary is a TBH member and is the Medical Director of the Washington State Deptment of Labor and Industries. Gary is also a Research Professor for the Departments of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, Neurology, and Health services at the University of Washington.
