With the specific goal of assisting grass-fed livestock producers to increase the economic viability and ecological resilience of their operations, this six-day (three 2-day sessions) course covering effective business planning, grass-fed/holistic livestock production methods, climate change and drought planning, maximization of resources and wholesale/retail marketing opportunities.  This course includes both classroom time and three field days at participating ranches throughout the Navajo Nation. 

This is a unique and affordable opportunity, appropriate for anyone raising livestock in the semi-arid Southwest region and beyond - and all others interested in developing healthy, productive pastures and more economically viable ranching thorugh holistic resource management.
