How can NOACA best serve northeast Ohio and help it prosper and thrive? By developing a regional strategic plan, NOACA will create a blueprint for effective and efficient transportation.
Keynote Address: “Innovations in Transit”
Speaker: Peter Rogoff, Administrator, Federal Transit Administration (FTA)
When transit is done right, it can help the local economy by bringing new businesses and development to the area, and by attracting the people businesses need by providing the transportation choices they want and need. The two-year surface transportation authorization, known as MAP-21, reflects many of FTA’s and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s highest policy priorities to strengthen public transportation nationwide. Learn more about transit issues from FTA Administrator Peter Rogoff, who, as the head of an agency with a $10 billion budget, helps fund public transit projects around the nation.
