SVC NASPP: July 20 Meeting (Webcast) - Hottest Global Updates & Trends Affecting Share Plans

Session Description

It is hard to keep track of all the changes in laws around the world and, even if you can keep track, it can be challenging to figure out what to do about some of the changes.  We will examine some of the hottest tax/legal developments around the world over the past year, including proposed changes to the tax treatment and securities exemptions for awards in Australia, cap on the 50% option exemption in Canada, new reporting requirements for RSUs in Ireland, and other hot topics du jour.  Our speaker will detail the updates and explain how they may impact issuers.  Further, our speaker will cover a number of trends in the global equity space, such as the impact of new (remote) work policies on share plans.  This presentation will help attendees know how to deal with the latest global tax/legal developments & trends without losing your cool.
