Brown Bag Lunch & Learn 

The purpose of these monthly brown bag lunches (participants bring their own lunch) is to connect small business owners with their peers and to network with professionals and leaders in our community.  We are planning to have a different topic/theme on one Friday each month.   There is no fee for the Lunch & Learn Series.  Just sign up and bring your lunch.  

Do I need an Employee Handbook?

While employers are not required to have an employee handbook, they are required to communicate certain information to their employees. In this brown bag lunchtime workshop, we’ll explore the pros and cons of employee handbooks, the information that must be shared with all employees, and strategies for making sure your business is in compliance with regulatory employment requirements. This will be an interactive workshop and participants will have an opportunity to get answers to their questions about employee handbooks.
