Yarmouth Drive is at the second traffic light from the intersection of Routes 256 and 204. The entrance to OCOSH is the second driveway on the right. Parking in front of the building is free.

Trauma-Infomed Group Care Training
This interactive workshop is designed to equip participants with trauma-informed, group-facilitation skills. We will review a variety of group formats that have been demonstrated to be effective and empowering for survivors. We will practice techniques designed to facilitate participation and address common groupwork challenges. This training is designed to be participatory and highly experiential. Each participant will receive a groupwork manual.
ODVN Trainers: Cathleen Alexander, LISW-S, Trauma Specialist and Sonia Ferencik, LISW-S, Child Trauma Training and Technical Assistance Specialist.
Continuing Education Units: 5.5 CEUs. Please note that CEU credit hours will only be given for the hours you actually attend training. In order to get a complete certificate of attendance for all the offered hours, you must attend the entire training. There are no exceptions.
Dress: Please dress casually and comfortably. Temperatures in training environments are unpredictable so please dress in layers.
Food and Snacks: Due to grant restrictions, ODVN cannot provide food or snacks. Participants are encouraged to bring what they need to take care of themselves. There will be a one hour lunch break. Participants will be provided with all handouts and training materials, but may find it useful to bring a laptop, tablet or pen and paper.
Refund Policy: A full refund will be given until the deadline. If you cancel your registration after the deadline or fail to attend the training, you or your agency will still be responsible for the full registration fee. Participant substitutions are always permitted.
